Let’s get started!!
#1 Candy Corn Suncatcher
How cute is this little guy! It’s a fantastically simple design, but doesn’t feel like it when you see the completed piece. This would go great either on a window or greeting trick-or treaters on a door or wall. If you make one, be sure to let us know!
#2 Great Pumpkin Hanger
Charlie Brown himself would be in awe of this great piece. It’s a great inspiration and starting off point if you’re looking for a good Halloween project. Tweaks could include adding eyes and a mouth to change it to a spooky jack-o-lantern.
#3 Witches Hat Suncatcher
Another fun piece on our list is this great witches hat. It would look great in other colors (black and orange or green). It’s probably an intermediate difficulty, piece and a good quality glass grinder would probably help speed up the construction process. Check out our Stained Glass Grinder Guide if you happen to be in the market.
#4 Bat and Moon Hanging
This distinct piece is another one that isn’t too complicated but doesn’t look like it when you see it completed. Spookify any room, window, or door you hang it on!
#5 Amazing Witch
This stunning piece definitely falls into our advanced skill level category! This is such a stunning work, it’d be hard to take down after Halloween is over. The intricacy on some of these parts really requires a good wet saw for stained glass (ring or wire), so check out our awesome Guide to Stained Glass Saws if you need to pick one up.
#6 Trick-or-Treat Display
This is the only free-standing piece on our list, and we think it is just the cutest! It’s not too complicated of a design, but the 3 dimensional and free standing nature of it makes it look extra cool. Great for an end-table or mantle piece!
#7 Witch’s Hat and Broom
This is a cool little hanging that would look great in basically any size. You could build off the idea by including other halloween related pieces in the chain (e.g. a pumpkin, a cobweb, a candy corn, etc.). Would look great hanging from either a window or a wall. If you make one, be sure to send us a pic!
